When Rich moved to Pennsylvania to be closer to his daughter he volunteered as a ‘Den Mother” while his grandson was in Cub Scouts. As his grandson continued to Boy Scouts he moved on to Pack committee and assisted in any and every way he can.
He served on the Wednesday crew at Pine Hill and the Thursday Crew at Roosevelt Scout Camp. He was the master cutter of the trees. During summer camp he would come down on for the Scoutmaster Dinner and cook for all the Scoutmasters in camp each week.
