2024 National Order of the Arrow Conference

Held at the University of Boulder in Colorado from July 29th, to August 3rd NOAC 2024 was one of the predominantly promoted events held by the Order of the Arrow in the post-pandemic era. It served as the 35th grand lodge meeting and was sold out months in advance. This NOAC was the first to exclude traditional AIA events, marking a shift in the OA’s policy regarding Native American history and culture. The event was well enjoyed all around with a wide variety of activities and programing, including but not limited to: hiking, yoga, diving, patch trading, cooking, and drone flying. The event also had a strong presence from all branches of the military which received their own dedicated area. The week of the 29th saw high temperatures in Colorado leading to people referring to the event as ” NO AC”. A playful jab at the lack of air conditioning in the dormitories. Lenape Lodge sent a group of 2 adults and 7 youth who all flew out from Philadelphia. The trip was an overall success and everyone came back feeling positive about the future of the Order.
